Featured project: Richard I. Bong Heritage Center

Serving as construction manager for the project, RJS Construction Group began construction on the Richard I. Bong Heritage Center in late fall of 2001. After a late November blizzard stalled progress, RJS forged ahead and finished the Center on time for the Grand Opening on September 25, 2002. Named for America’s “Ace of Aces” and Medal recipient, Major Richard Bong, the center honors WWII participants and is located on Superior’s waterfront at the intersection of Hwy. 53 and Hwy 2/Belknap Street.
